The Australian National Canoe Slalom Team is based at the Penrith Whitewater Stadium. Junior Development programs are run for beginners as young as 10 up to elite junior national representative level.

November 18/19th – Moving water camp in Childowlah, run by River Canoe Club and PaddleNSW.

November 24-26th – Eildon (nationals venue) Junior slalom training camp for all levels. Run by Melbourne Canoe Club. Highly Reccomended for those going to nationals! More info here: http://melbourne.canoe.org.au/2017/09/18/1052740/

December 2/3rd – VIC champs (Eildon/Nationals Venue) – Ros will be attending to race and can assist with coaching in Eildon.

December 16th – Penrith Valley Canoeing (your club) Christmas Race and BBQ at PWS – a modified format will be available for those juniors capable of paddling whitewater but with little experience on slalom gates.

January 4-7th – Junior National Championships, Eildon VIC

January 8-12th – National Championships, Eildon VIC

January 13/14th – River Canoe Club moving water weekend in Childowlah (don’t worry about going to this if you’re going to be at nationals just before!)

February 10 – PVC slalom, modified format available

February 11th – ParraPaddlefest – a head to head flat water slalom race on the canal in the heart of Parramatta. This is a very fun event and I would highly recommend going!

February 16-18th – AUS OPEN (PWS) – the kids will not be up to racing here, but it will be fun to watch the Aussie seniors race for selection and compete against some tough international rivals. Volunteers are always welcome!

March 17/18th – River Canoe Club moving water weekend, Childowlah
