Myall Classic 2019
The Myall Classic
On the 21st September 2019, the Myall Classic turns 17. The distances don’t get any shorter though.
Challenge yourself to 47km, 27km or just 12km courses on the beautiful Myall River at Tea Gardens.
New for 2019 is Myall Paddle Scrabble, a fun recreational event run alongside the main race.
Details are elsewhere in the newsletter, but if you’re not the competitive type and just want to experience the Myall for all its beauty, this is the event for you. While you’re in Tea Gardens, why not see the latest adventure paddling movies on Saturday night, at the World Paddling Film Festival. Starting at 6.30pm, at the Hawks Nest Golf Club. Tickets are $20.00.
Details for the Myall Classic are on the Myall website http://myall.paddlensw.org.au/ and entries are open.
Volunteers are needed for several interesting jobs on the day, as one of our regular organisers is unavailable. Please contact admin@paddleNSW.org.au with any assistance you can provide with IRB safety boat driving or crewing (boats supplied!), venue setup and pack-down etc, calling boat numbers across the finish etc. It is an interesting way for partners/friends to be involved, and will ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
