PaddleNSW along with significant contributions from NSW Maritime have developed the Waterways Guide.  The original vision for the guide was to make the NSW Canoeing guide accessible to the broader paddling community. Well it has certainly done that and a whole lot more. With up to date river levels and detailed content on access and egress points it is the go to guide for your next paddling adventure.

The reach of our waterways guide has now extended far beyond just NSW to across Australia with the enormous effort in volunteer contributions for content.

Contributions from NSW Police and Emergency Services have given us the opportunity to develop an Iphone app.

Now we want to create an Android app and need $15,000 to make this happen and we need your help

Donations over $100 will receive a thank you certificate, recognition in our monthly newsletter as well as on our website (unless of course you wish to remain anonymous). We’ll personally let you know as soon as its available so you can download it as soon as its ready.

So you ask what will the Android APP do?

Give you all the info on the waterwaysguide.org.au website ready to go in your pocket – Access points, routes and river levels

Create a trip/Float Plan

Put together your plan where you putting in, the route you’ll be using and your egress point, your expected time frames are added as well as safety gear and participants. The float plan is automatically sent  to your emergency contacts and provides all the pertinent information for emergency services should your plan not go to plan.
